A New Blogging Adventure Begins!


Mr. Suryaveer ‘ICT class’ is back in action for another exciting year of learning and blogging together.

We will get more things done as a team! The list of class blogs is given right side bar----->>>

Our school has blogs for every class and section, subjects such as science, mathematics, English, social science as well as all skill classes such as art and craft, dance, sports, music, instrumental music etc. On our blog we will share lots of the amazing things we are learning together. Families, friends, and other students can follow along with our adventures and leave comments or ask us questions.

We will have pictures, articles, drawings, and videos of our learning on this blog. To stay up to date on what we are doing, you can subscribe to the blogs. This has been started for a few days and is still getting time to create and share with each other. Please leave a comment to help us in the adventure. CBSE National Science Exhibition 2010 - A Grand Success

With the objective of promoting creativity and innovations in students the S.D.Public School, Pitampura hosted the CBSE National Science Exhibition 2010 on 6 sub themes- Mathematics in Everyday Life, Information and Communication Technology, Climate Change - Causes and Consequences, Biology in Human Welfare, Green Energy and Science and Technology in Games and Sports. About 20 Exhibits out of 156 exhibits from different parts of the country were adjudged as winner and cash award were handed over to the winning teams. The event was inaugurated by Mr Vineet Joshi, IAS Chairman CBSE and the awards were handed over to the winning teams by Mr Kapil Sibal, Minister of Human Resource and Development, GOI. Inservice Training & Workshops

Two workshops were organised in the school in the month of June 09. One was on Positive Disciplining.

Recognition and Appreciations to our school Principal

Ms. Anita Sharma Principal was honoured by "World Academy of Spiritual Science (WASS) on 14th January'07 for contribution to Science & Spirituality. She was also honoured in the 4th International Vedic Convention.

She was also awarded 'Global responsive & interactive Education Award' on 30th December'06 during Global summit on Globalisation by the High Commissioner of Mozambique.

Appointed as Founder Member of Interantional Society for Technology of Education, Washington D.C. USA.

Awarded 'Rashtra Gaurav Award' by Indo-International Friendship Society.

Bagged Guru Dronacharya Award by Directorate of Education for distinguish services in the field of education.

Awarded 'Avantika Shankutalam Samman' by Group of Contemporary Artists and Intellectual, Lawrence Road Delhi.

Great going...... in NCERT Workshop supported by UNICEF

Five of our school children were priviledge enough to participate in the five day workshop on Script writing and Video Production from 25th to 29th August, 2007. Only selected children of three schools were selected for this workshop which was conducted by resource persons from Germany MR. Chris Scheupp and his team. This workshop was supported by Chinh India and UNICEF.
These students of age 13 to 15 years not only produced one minute (exactly 60 seconds not less or not more) video but also has been selected for filming their video for an International Competition to be held in Amsterdam in November to represent India.
Ms. Anita Sharma, Principal and Prof. Dharam Parkash, Head, Media Production Div. NCERT Delhi applauded their contribution and hard work as the students shot their videos from morning 9 am to 10 pm late night on the roads of buzy Delhi.
These students will now share their knolwedge with other students of the school in comming days.
